Núria Martinez Seguer (Santa Coloma de Gramenet, 1973).

PhD in Fine Arts in the specialty of Image from the University of Barcelona.

Since 1998 she has been a professor of Photography at the EASD Serra i Abella of the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

She carries out creative projects in the audiovisual and photographic field. She has exhibited and participated in: The whole space (Barcelona, ​​1993), Spongia (Barcelona, ​​1994), Marginal perceptions (1996), The silence of boxing (Barcelona, ​​2006), Nommer Femme belle de jour (Zaragoza, 2010) , 3 looks (Barcelona, ​​2011), Soul Round (Barcelona, ​​2012), éphémère (Barcelona, ​​2013) and Città (Barcelona, ​​2017- Santa Coloma de Gramenet, 2019).

Her authorial photographic work, partly focused on sport, includes her interest in boxing with an aesthetic language of contrasts and formal forcefulness: In 2004 she won the First National Prize at the Euro Press Photo Awards, in the Sports category, exhibited at the Palazzo Venezia in Rome.
